However, they are not even the cheapest gas stations in town no matter what the grade of gas happens to be. ( Of course some clubs or credit cards will offer you an additional percentage or discount and maybe that is the way to go. ) After checking around for price advantage, I've ended up charging my gas purchases to a credit card. So, do you end up buying gas at the CASH discount, if offered (and if it ends up cheaper than a credit card) Or Do you just pay for your gasoline purchase with your credit card ? CASH or CREDIT .... how do you pay for your gasoline purchase ? Then.....if you pay in CASH ... how many pennies ¢¢¢ discount per gallon do you get offered. And, if a particular ExxonMobil station offers a discount for cash I also receive the lower cash price when I use their "Smart Card," even though it's a credit card.
