Hate to say this, but you're luckier than us. Our spike for reg. gas in California from this morning went from $3.86 to $3.93!! Yikes!

3.75-3.89 in Anaheim,CA for the most part.

Every time it goes up it goes up 4 cents. Which is stupid because Crude Oil is BELOW $100 a barrel. Its because of the stuff in the Middle East.

This isn't good for February. Gas might as well hit $5 this summer.

And you've been getting these 3+ cent increases every day? Prices never go down? How long has this been going on?

Grab those ankles and take it like a man is all I can recommend. Or, fight back and buy an electric for your commute and in-town driving. An electric would take care of 95% of my weekly driving needs. How many million others would be in the same boat with me just in this country?

Ugh... I think it's pretty awful... Don't we all? I can't say it's been the best way to start the new year here in MA either.... Starting with the Gas prices.. It's Mid-Winter & we're going in the wrong direction financially... Gas is always cheaper here in the Winter... You'd think it were mid July if it weren't 16°F outside with 18" of Snow last week...

As we continue to export refined petroleum products to sell on the world market our prices will continue to increase here at home. Especially as the dollar is devalued through inflation.... Things are only going to get worse after Conoco closes 3 Northeast refineries that process nearly 700,000bpd. So here in the Northeast we will see prices rise as we will have to be bringing refined products from the Gulf region.. Either way it is not going to be a pretty picture over the next few months. They already started idling the refineries with a goal of complete shutdown by July if they do not find a buyer, which is why price may seem disjointed from the actual oil prices.

Boyrr:

Forgetting that I don't think the Sheetz station in Bethlehem is gouging simply for increasing prices for reasons I don't know, the Sheetz station is lower priced than several other local gas stations. I assume those brands have also lost your business forever.

But just asking; if the Sheetz station is lower priced than the gas stations you're now not boycotting, you will, I assume, continue to boycott Sheetz forever, even if it's lower priced? And even if it's the lowest price?

Just asking.

I saw that at the SHEETZ station in Bethlehem. It was 3.459 on 01/25, jumped to 3.559 on 1/26! It's just price gouging. SHEETZ has lost my business.

some stations went up a dime yesterday and others are stable. I'm not sure if it's a temporary weekend rise, or if it will fall back a little on tuesday.

Local forum issue... I didn't & don't want to see any 10¢ increases here in MA today or for a while... But if I did, I would post it locally & not let the whole USA & Canada know.

As this thread was posted in the national forum, for reading by the people across the U.S. and Canada, rather than in the local Pennsylvania discussion forum, is there significance that every gas station in Somerset now sells gas for $3.59 a gallon?

I noticed, then, that all but one Gas Buddy gas price post for Somerset are wrong. As of a minute ago, only one gas station is listed for $3.59 (the GetGo gas station for which you posted the price 11 hours ago); the two Old BP stations you posted for (they're the same station) 11 hours ago are selling gas for #3.56 a gallon. The Turkey Hill station is still selling gas for $3.49, and someone else posted that one of the two Old BP stations (they list it as BP, with the same address) as selling for $3.49 a gallon.

But is this really a national issue, not a local issue, for discussion, that gas in Somerset went up a dime?
