Thanks for reminding me, I have been remiss lately with TPMS. I try to check mine and my folks each time I stop by their home every few weeks (they don't have TPMS).

after each scheduled service. I keep the ones on my hybrid 2 to 3 pounds above what the dealer sets them at and go by what it says on the tire for the accepatble range

Hello aleycatMO. My Chevrolet Equinox displays the actual tire pressure on the dash readout two wheels at a time. I have confirmed the accuracy of the Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) with my manual garage tire guage and a digital one. I've made it habit to check the tire pressure each time I first drive the vehicle to confirm I haven't picked up a nail or other object. Once in a while, I check them while driving to make sure all is well. Strangely, one tire always (no matter what position the wheels is rotated to) is 1 PSI lower than the rest, even though they all start out equal when cold.

My car gives a reading on each tire on my dash. I check it about once a week.

It depends on what I am doing. If they look low, I will check them or a change in temps. This usually affects pressures.

Monthly unless I see something that doesn't look right. Never seem to have a problem keeping air in my tires.

No where near as often as I should. I was surprised at how much effect that can have on your Gas Mileage. I suppose I should do it every couple weeks or so, but I probably only do it when I see a tire low. Although with this new car I have, it shows me the pressure electronically and so I see it far more often than I really need to. yeaaaaah Technology...

On my car, every time I fill up with gas, I check the pressures, and no, I don't run maximum pressures in the tires, I find the ride is better when inflated to the OEM specifications
