All the cars I've bought have them, but recently on one of them the wheel lock key got stripped so I just took the locking lugnuts off.

on the car there is stock lock nuts , But on the pick up there is not.

I just had them installed four days ago. We've had a terrible rash of rims stolen directly off vehicles at public venues in particular. Although there have been neighborhoods where the rims were taken off at owners homes in their driveway. 20" tires are considered especially attractive to thieves, which is what I have.
Since I'm taking my grand daughter to lots of places; I thought it was a good idea. $20 for the lock is cheap if only for the peace of mind.

I have factory wheels but I do to hopefully deter trouble. The salesman gave them to me free after we agreed to a price for the new car. He said "mats or locks?"
