Whiteboard is "more private" than the forum. Stay polite, and it should be OK, I think.

kwzh: I was thinking about posting on the other person's whiteboard. Would you say it's okay to do so? I don't really want to publicly call someone out, but if that's the only way to get their attention...
Other member was NOT writing anything in the comments. Just posting the cash price. When I post those stations, I will note "Cash -10c/gal" or "Cash-Credit Same Price".

I only saw one listing, both in the MSL and in a general search. Exxon 5211 Ox Rd (Rt 123) & Zion Dr
Are you still seeing duplicates? Post a link?

Removing duplicate station listings? The following station is listed twice with different prices. Can someone please consolidate them? I could not get the delete station instructions to work because a search by address showed only one, but listing Exxon stations in Fairfax (Virginia) showed both.Exxon 5211 Ox Rd (Rt 123) & Zion Dr Fairfax

Yes, you can leave a message on that member's whiteboard. (Which didn't exist when the FAQ page was written.) Click on the member name to get to that page.
Is this member including a comment that says whether the posted price is cash or credit? Do *you* post such a comment when you log the station? In my opinion, cash vs credit is less important than *documenting* which price was posted (and the price difference).

I have a similar question. What if a member (long-time member with lots of price postings) is still posting the cash price instead of the credit price? This happens a lot in NJ where most stations have separate prices. I don't know what the correct price is because I haven't driven by it in the last couple of days, but I know that this member is continually posting cash instead of credit prices. In the FAQ it says try to contact the member through the forum, but the member has 0 forum posts. What's the next course of action? Is there another way to contact other members?
Thanks! Woo! Just got my car icon too!

Until you get the 10K pts necessary to access the MSL, you can go on your Local Discussion Group category and request that another member make any corrections to station data.
Your site does not seem to have standardized topics for commonly-discussed matters. Take a look at the Sacramento site and consider setting up some on yours.

Post the correct price and inform the moderators of those not doing so.

If you see stations that are incorrectly listed (wrong brand or whatever), please report it to the Moderators so it can be corrected. If you see isolated instances of incorrect prices and you know the correct price, just post it; that will clear the error. You have been a member for over 3 years and have reported at most 27 prices in that whole time. Get active and help the site!! If you notice a member consistently reporting invalid prices, please report that to the Mods as well. List details so they can fix the problem.
To contact the Mods, click the Inbox icon in the upper right of any page, then click on GB Moderator in the left column. This sets you up to send a message via the PM system.

Why don't you simply report the correct gas prices if you see incorrect ones?
