No, CK. The reason to ALWAYS want people to have to scroll down to the bottom of the page is so they can see (and enjoy) all the ads. ;-)

No, no! That's a crazy idea. You ALWAYS want people to have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see (much less use) all the controls. The longer the page, the better. Hopefully, before they get to the bottom of the page, Alzheimers will set in and the user will forget what he was trying to do and go home.
'Smatter with you, anyway?

Excellent suggestion: Move the pull down menus to the upper right hand corner of the map.
jrsva: You can customize the map as you wish and save the url as a shortcut/bookmark for your "personal default setting."

I strongly support this suggestion. I have a large, hi-res screen and the menus are still off the bottom edge so I have to scroll down every time I open the map. Moving them to the upper right would resolve this issue
I would also like to be able to save a personal default setting for the map so that every time I open it the focus would be on my choice of city and “All Stations.” When I open it now it goes to Asheboro, NC. Where did it get that idea? I’ve never been to or searched for that place.
Oops, I just realized I have bumped an old topic. I followed a link to it and did not notice how old it was. Sorry folks but I still like the idea.

As I stated, it depends on your screen size and resolution.
This is a very minor tweak that could easily be accomplished. It fits perfectly with kwzh's suggestion of making time for little improvements. However, I doubt anything will happen since it doesn't involve GasBuddy Direct or an app.

Click on the Gas Price Maps and then enter a zip code. Depending on your screen size and resolution, the pull down menus that let you choose the grade of gasoline or time can be off the screen.

Advertisement has nothing to do with this suggestion.
