The Taylor family Stefko Blvd Shell Gas Station advertises ethanol-free gasoline. The address is 1907 Stefko Blvd, Bethlehem, PA 18017. Phone 610-867-0630. The gas is a few cents more per gallon, but with the higher mpg with ethanol-free gas it should even out.

Don't bet that the driver always knows if a load to a station has ethanol it in being that the driver either punches a code or swipes a card in to a terminal and the computer system does the mixing of additives and ethanol if that is what has been set up for said station.

Gmenfan- Thanks for that report but please post it in the local forum here.

PS in PA any gas pump dispensing E10 *MUST* by law say so on the pump. No label should mean no ethanol. Asking a clerk doesn't always work-- some will know, some won't, and some will tell you what they think you want to hear. Go by the label. (note to Bus561: this is not true in Kentucky-- no label law there).

Let's not just throw up our hands and say 'oh well, most stations have it so why bother'. They advertise no ethanol because there's a market for it. They're not going to put up a sign saying the opposite and thereby draw attention to a lie.

Again, valuable info but we keep these in the state forums. Also check this site to see if this station is in there, and enter it if it's not.

And I would venture to say that if you check with the semi driver that hauls that gas you would most likely find that it indeed does have ethanol in it. I had one Shell station in this area tell me that they had no ethanol in their gas, but upon checking with the semi driver who was unloading he told me that it did have ethanol in it and 95 percent of the gas in this area at stations has ethanol in it.

Try it in your small motors also. They will love you for it.
