“We’re in corn country, so we’ve got quite a few E85 vehicles around here,” Plunkett said. “But something that has surprised me is that my biggest sellers are E20 and E30 rather than E85 or even regular unleaded.” Now that he has blender pumps at his station, Plunkett said he will “definitely” offer E15 to his customers as soon as it’s available.

He must have had to install a new storage tank. The actual blender pumps are around $22k to $25k per pump plus installation charges.

The article says it cost $500,000 to install 2 blender pumps (at least $250,000 for one pump). At that price I would think very few stations would put in blender pumps.

In my opinion, they should install blender pumps instead of regular pumps.

Goldseeker...Hey....that would be great. Someone named RedRider was looking for you last night...he posted a thread. He called you the most outspoken of the "ethaholics." You should thank him for the compliment!

jamieg2012.....that would be cool. They have to be calibrated at he dispenser for each mix. We offer E15, E50 and E85. We are thinking about offering anther blend. That really is an awesome idea. Maybe that will be possible someday.

the way the blender pump should work but not is to let a person pick the blend then pull enough from both tanks and mix it as it pumps

if these blender pumps could change to work that way you could offer any mix
