If their prices are low, they've got a chance.

"Building with the environment in mind isn’t the easy thing to do, but it is the right thing to do,” said Tim Rutter, president of M&G Realty, the real estate company behind all Rutter's Farm Stores.
Spoken like one of the "Greener-than-Thou Faithful at the Church of Spotted Owl Gore". The article forgot to mention that you are allowed one sheet of toilet paper in their ultra-green restroom. Not ultra-clean restroom, kinda brown after awhile...

Ya know I can't say I look forward to seeing new gas stations. But I must say if circumstances take me to a new station or even an old one. It is much nicer to have a well maintained and clean station over a crap hole station. A nice clean rest room makes all the difference too. My thing is to try out the latest and greatest automatic car washes. Some are attached to the station some are not. But yeah I am much more into the car wash than any station.

I would like to take a chain saw and decapitate every "BIG OIL" CEO.
Did anybody watch the CSPAN coverage of the congressional hearing held yesterday specifically to allow the "Big Oil" thieving bastards to explain why the oil industry needs both the tax breaks they gain for locating their corporate headquarters in foreign countries and the subsidies they receive from the federal government. I watched that televised hearing and I am appalled but not surprised by what these greedy bastards had to say as well as what they would not say.
Like a bunch of spoiled childish brats they claimed they needed the subsidies for exploration. A corporate empire with Trillions of dollars in earnings and Billions of dollars in assets does not need subsidies for exploration and the oil industry most definitely does not deserve even a tenth of a penny of tax payer provided subsidies.

Great people think of and create great things!!!! Government has only one very old play book, and the only Great things in it are how to make more Government Union Jobs to elect the same Corrupt Politicians back into power to steal more Money from the Tax Payers.

Has all this done anything to keep the prices down. How do their prices compare to the surrounding gas stations in both the areas of gas and other products they sell.

I will say it is admirable that this place decided to go green (they didn't spend much time in the article explaining how), but I am more interested in green ways that gas stations would be helping to improve fuel efficiency, rather than their own efficiency...
