Unfortunately, things may get much worse before everyone has finally had enough.

Yeah, and then ther're those that aren't included here because, as opposed to being "pennies away", they've already arrived in heretofore unprecedented record-breaking territory (some of which You can read about in other "threads" on this site.) Ran a page search for the word "record" on the GB All Recent News page. — quite a few "results". If the "$ 5.00 by Summer" predictions pan-out — it's going to be a "world of hurt". Likely, the "Admin" will "cave" before that.

It won't go much higher nobody will be buying it. Maybe they will buy just enough to get to work and the grocery store.

Many cities just pennies away from record gas prices and how much farther up will gas pump prices go? End taxpayer subsidies for Big oil – pump prices go up. Limit refinery production or close refineries – pump prices go up. Natural gas, alternative fuel, renewable energy – pump prices go up. More EV and Inbred vehicles – pump prices go up. Higher MPG vehicles – pump prices go up. The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!

. Now I ask again, are you better off then you were 3 years ago now that it costs more then TWICE as much to fill your car as it did 3 years ago?! No, Mr Liar in Chief their is NO inflation! Of course their is inflation when gasoline has more then doubled in only 3 years, what a joke Obama is! When was the last time Obama had to buy a gallon of gasoline, a steak, or gallon of milk? Besides being a disbarred lawyer, a documented liar, Obama is also clueless!

Many of us who voted for Obama won't vote for him again. I don't think prices won't go down much under Romney, but 4 more years of Obama would lead to more all-time high gas prices. Obama has no idea how many people his policies and decisions are hurting but he seems to have a silver spoon....you know where.
