I really like most of the moves the Reds have made this off season. They gave a lot to get Latos, and Madson was a great pick up! Any other thoughts?

Only 10 more days until pitchers and catchers report.

Ryan Feel made the most fantastic catch that I have ever seen against Albert Pujols at Great American. The guy left it all on the field. RIP Ryan

A fresh start for Stubbs should be good, and hopefully he won't have the pressure of leading off. The Reds are going after it next year, as much as they can afford too.

I am glad that Drew Stubbs will get a chance to play baseball someplace else. He is such a tremendous talent, I hope he succeeds except when he plays against the Reds!

Looks like Dusty will be back next year.

Baker, Reds agree on two-year extension

This is a total surprise for e. Hadn't lost 3 games in a row @ home all season. I believe there will be some changes made.

They did battle, but this is still a disappointing end to the Reds season. There are quite a few questions for next year.

Totally surprise the Reds couldn't finish it off, but then they haven't won a home playoff game in forever. Tough break losing Cueto.

Other than a few rabid Giants fans, who would of thought that the Reds would not advance to the league championship series after winning the first 2 games in San Francisco?

The Reds made too many mistakes last night to get the win. I am not blaming Phillips, Rolen or Hanigan. The Reds would not be in the playoffs without those guys!

The Reds seem to be playing with a sense of purpose and determination that wasn't there in 2010. Go Reds.

I think the Reds understand what the post season is about now. They just need to be rested and ready for the Giants.

Reds manager Dusty Baker is in a hospital in Chicago after having problems breathing before last night's game against the Cubs.

The more that I watch Dusty Baker, the more convinced I become that he has no feel for when to take a starter out. I consistently see starters get into trouble late in games without a reliever warming up. He waits until the game is out of reach before he makes the switch. Bronson Arroyo alone should kick Dusty in the behind for letting him go too long earlier in the year. He kept pitching well until the 7th or 8th then blowing up. Dusty wouldn't have relievers ready until the lead was lost.
I guess I got spoiled with Sparky Anderson.

The Reds seem to be on a collision course with the Giants for the NL pennant. I think the Reds will win the NL pennant.

Big series in Cincy this weekend withe the Pirates coming to town! When's the last time you could say a series between the Pirates and Reds was a big series? The 70's?

I am not sure a Votto-less Reds team can play .500 baseball. We will find out over the next month.

Chapman - Come on. You just looked stupid and provided great incentive to a team you play regularly to really focus on beating the Reds.

If Chapman doesn't get the feel for his slider back, and I mean soon, this could get pretty ugly!
