If you get the chance, please please PLEASE try to get up to the Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Stratford, ON. The Festival runs from May through November and features some of the best live theatre I've ever seen.

My wife and I spent a week there a couple years back, and were planning to return the following year, except that she was 8 months pregnant and couldn't travel! We're going back up in May to celebrate our 5th wedding anniversary (and leaving our boy at home with the grandparents)!

thanks for the good recommendations for the city. It is very picturesque, with lots of interesting shops down town and a multitude of wonderful restaurants to offer anything in any price range and variety, having the chef's school in the city helps with that a great deal. And the plays are pretty amazing too. With the costs of gas of late it has really decreased the attendance this year so even now there are lots of great seats available if you call for tickets even at the last moment.

STRATFORD IS BEAUTIFUL PLACE TO VISIT WE STAYED AT A BED AND BREAKFAST AND SAW TWO PLAYS IT WAS A GREAT WEEKEND
