Fort Steele Heritage Town
A place we have been going for several years.
Fort Steele is located outside of Cranbrook, BC. It was a town started by a gold rush in 1864 and reached its peak in the mid 1890s. It is now operated as a living museum, complete with street plays depicting events and people of the time.
There is a really good campground across the highway that has a gas station, convenience store and showers. If you're looking for an entertaining experience, come for a visit.
