I am going back to Oahu to vacation and selected Makaha. I have heard mixed reviews. Apparently there is a lot of poverty in this town, high unemployment rate and a large homeless population. I picked it because of the seclusion and the beauty. The condo I will be staying in has a gated and guarded parking lot and it sits right on the beach. Has anyone been there??

How was Makaha?
The Government chased the homeless out of Ala Moana Park.
Most of them have taken residence along the beaches in Makaha.
