I know that there is a fuel log that can be accessed at the main site, but it might be nice to include the fuel log capability on mobile devices so you can update it right after you get gas.

Thanks for the suggestion.

We will forward this feedback along to our development team for future consideration. We're always working on improving the service, and feedback is the best way for us to know what users want out of the site and applications.

As this topic had not seen a response since Jul 12, 2012, I'd like to remind users that if a topic has not been posted in for 2 or more months, we ask that you do not post in it to prevent bumping inactive discussions.

It would be nice to have the Gb fuel log as an app but I simply enter the data into the full GB web site on my phone. I grab a paper receipt at the pump, jot down the odometer reading and at my leisure enter the data. Either directly on the phone if I'm hanging around or later at home at my leisure.

Been keeping a 99.9% accurate log on several vehicles since joining GB in 2005.

I hope that some day GasBuddy.com adds a fuel log into their mobile app for android. I'm already in the app reporting gas prices every time I'm fueling up, so it would be one fewer app that I need to get into, thus streamlining my workflow.

I just send myself a text and put it in when I get home... that would be nice though... I think they're still modifying it some

What fuel log app are you using? The ones I found are just rediculous. Any help would be appreciated.

I had a fuel log app that I used religiously for about 4 months. You really only need to use it for a few weeks for reliable info. Longer than that and it becomes more of a hassle. If you're in a hurry, if the kids are yelling, or if people are waiting on you to move it is a major pain in the butt. I would suggest using one but only for as long as it takes to get the info you are interested in. And don't try to remember the mileage so you can enter it in later when you have time, you end up guestimating when you stop for the next fillup because you will forget to do it until then.

acar.
It lets you log services, fuel fill-ups, trips, expenses, parts, reminders. Multiple cars. I really like it. There is a free and pro(fee) version.

There is a fuel log app in the market. It does exactly what you are wanting.
