angelababy,
All Audi A8s are made out of aluminum. VWaG developed a long-term partnership with Alcoa(alum. mfgr)many years ago. On the A8, the aluminum chassis, space-frame, and body panels are of the main contributors to the uncommon performance & $extreme$ price tag. But galvanized steel is used extensively by Audi(& other auto mfgrs)in their lower line models.

No... i think u misheard it for galvanized steel. Which is high resistant to corrosion. Silver reacts to air and corrosion way too quickly.

Sorry, I gotta call 'shens' on this. I've seen official video footage of Audi's A8 assembly plant in Neckarsulm, Germany. There is NO WAY Audi would build a car made of "pure Silver" simply based upon potential crash liability. So what IS the REAL answer to this *shiny* riddle???...Polished Aluminum!. Does anyone remember Audi's shiny Avus concept car from the `90s? You're basically looking @ the same thing. Plus, there are a surprising amount of plastic body parts on a A8(bumpers, mouldings, rockers)...these are obviously chrome plated on the "Silver" A8.
