I'm a little late to the party but I know the answer to gazol's question. The manual for the 335d says not to use more than 5% biodiesel, so I wouldn't go over that if you're trying to keep the warranty.
I'm really hoping BMW isn't discontinuing the 335d in their 2012 lineup. It's a fantastic vehicle and I would definitely be looking at buying one once I had the income to do so.

I never responded to your forum if only because there was no question or issue to stimulate me enough to write. Perhaps you can ask a question or two occasionally to get some action. Now, here's a question that I posed to BMW without any response! Can one use biodiesel (available in some stations) to fuel the 335d? What grade or class of biodiesel is OK... if any? Are there any warranty issues related to biodiesel use?
2011 BMW 335d Car was born 25 May 2010 and delivered to me in Munich 26 May 2010 29.4 mpg combined 35.4-36.0 mpg freeway @ 75-80 mph

Not many oil heads responding. Interesting. Seems like Americans still can't wrap their heads around a quiet, efficient, high-speed, high-torgue, sportcar. If they only went to the BMW dealer and did a little test drive, I think that you would be seeing a lot more comments on this topic !

Oh, yes ! Best car that I have ever had the pleasure of driving! And the X5 is amazing off-road. Go the BMW Performance Center videos to see what it does!
Balancing on opposing wheels - and the doors open and close easily - because of the rigid, sturdy frame.
Drives through 22 inches of water without leaking into the passenger compartment.
