You want more than 4 GB of RAM in your Apple, the Apple Store can take your machine in the back and max it out.

Well, I decided it was time to ram more RAM in my machine and so I went in. Not too bad of a deal, they even gave me credit for the in-warranty 4 GB they took out.

The question they asked next kind of floored me. "Do you want us to just put the RAM in, or do you want us to test it?" I assured them I wanted it tested. Even if I was machineless for two hours.

I did have to sign my life away that they are not responsible if the data disappears off of my hard drive. I would have to do a reload of both OSes and let Carbonite grind for a few days. The Specialist asked me why anyone would actually dual-boot Windows on a Macintosh. Well, the most advanced investment tool you can get on a Macintosh is Excel.

Outstanding video, bytebug! Is that really Mark's wife? I'm skeptical.

I happen to live near an Apple Store that attracts its modest share of celebrities. Oh, the moments I could share…

There are programs that will not run correctly in a virtual environment. For this you must be able to dual boot into Windows 7 or OSX-Lion.

Don't dual boot...use Parallels or VMWare and run Windows on MAC OS...Makes life grand.
