Which Lion King is better:The first one or Lion King 2 Simba's pride? I personally like both but I think that the second one has more of a special meaning. The meaning I get is to accept other people's differences.

After watching the Aladdin trilogy of movies, I've realized that the original is always the best, so I only watched The Lion King.

DRIVESFAST - "I wish I saw it earlier. I ordered it yesterday through Overstock.com for $75.65. It is $116.99 at Amazon. Since it is 11 DVD's that isn't that bad of a deal. It will be my luck it will be at Costco for $50 this holiday season."

That's a fantastic deal. And I doubt Costco would stock this series. It's not mainstream enough.

I agree the first was the best, but all of them are good and so is the Broadway version.

DRIVESFAST - "I also enjoyed Kimba the White Lion. Too bad the only dvd set that you can rent is the crappy version that aired on NBC. It is not the complete episode. They cut parts of it. It is still enjoyable."

Kimba the White Lion was actually just re-released on DVD and is the full deal. The only downside is it's extremely expensive. DVD Link I want to buy it but it's a bit too expensive for me.

I own all three on dvd - Lion King, Lion King 1 1/2, Lion King 2. I like the original the best.

#1 for me...also considered the Lion King Parade at Disneyland the best parade they ever had!

I prefer the show the Lion King was stolen from - Kimba The White Lion. But I think the first Lion King was the better one of the Lion King films.
