avoid excessive summertime heat. Stay indoors with air conditioning or a fan. If you're outside Water and sports drinks are especially helpful to replenish fluids lost to sweating.

In San Jose, the winter is not that cold and the summer can be very hot. I much prefer the winter. However, the spring and Fall is even better.

If you have access to a swimming pool, leg exercises are nice.

If you exercise outside, try to do it before sunrise or at least pretty early. This morning it was about 98% humidity (doesn't that mean I almost swam 3 miles today?). Otherwise, try to workout inside with the AC. And, obviously, drink lots and lots of water. It typically has enough electrolytes for you body. The sports drinks are, usually, extra calories and extra money.

I got a treadmill in my apartment. I can jog and workout here with my A/C if I wanna.
