Update: I finally tried Country Way (Fremont, CA) for dinner, and it's no longer the "favorite breakfast place." It is THE favorite place.

I'm adding Carrows to my favorites (in the casual diner category). Their kid's meals are awesome, and the food is much better than other casual diners I've been to *cough* Chili's, Denny's, and Applebee's.

My favorite right now (don't ask me ten minutes from now or it may change) is Mamacita's, a Mexican restaurant with four locations scattered around the Houston area.
Nachos and caldo de res to die for. The only problem is they only make the caldo de res at noon.

Darda Seafood Restaurant, located in Milpitas, CA and Fremont, CA.
Not sure why it's called a seafood restaurant, but it's Chinese Islamic Cuisine (I heard it was even featured on the news in Pakistan). Being of Chinese descent myself, I must say that this is the only authentic Chinese food I can find in my area.
