Instapundit had at least a couple other plugs for coverage of this last weekend (22nd-23rd). (I think Poland had a runoff election too...)
Here's Instapundit's latest update "Gun control is usually a loser when it goes to a popular vote."
"Comments on Mr Lula da Silva's government and another news link from the UK Financial Times. From that article (don't count on it lasting more than a week or more), "Brazilians voted by more than three to two on Sunday to reject a ban on the sale of firearms and ammunition in the country.
The size of the rejection was seen as a protest at the failure of public policy on security and as a reflection of discontent with the government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva."
