Who can afford to buy a new car now a days. I'd love to, but my husband hasn't a full time job in over 3 years. He's now working about 4-5 hours per week. How can I even think about a new car?? I can't even afford the gas!!

My daughter drives a prius and is very happy with the 44 to 46/mpg that she gets. She does a lot of driving and doesn't visit the gas station nearly as much.

The government can afford to upgrade its fleet to these new energy efficient vehicles. Corporations, companies and businesses with lots of money can afford to buy a fleet of these vehicles and experience the savings almost immediately.

Out of those 2289 Chevy Volts, I wonder how many were sold to GE and other of Obama's cronies.
