The Associated Press -- Hybrid and electric cars saw record U.S. sales in March as gas prices rose and new models hit the market. Here are the top ten hybrid cars in March by sales.

I'd love to, but my husband hasn't a full time job in over 3 years. He's now working about 4-5 hours per week. How can I even think about a new car?? I can't even afford the gas!!

She does a lot of driving and doesn't visit the gas station nearly as much.

Corporations, companies and businesses with lots of money can afford to buy a fleet of these vehicles and experience the savings almost immediately.
