Obama may not be entirely to blame but one thing for sure he is a large part of the problem. What he's done has hurt the price of gas and I can't think of a single thing he's done thats helped.
In Alabama, where I'm from, people are saying Obama is going to lower gas prices prior to the election to help him get re-elected. Don't know if that possible but prices are starting to drop a little.

I agree that the single most reason for high prices is simply greed.

There is know way we can put the blame on one person or one particular group. When you point one finger at someone, there's three pointing back at you.

Global commodity trading of oil is the culprit along with increased global consumption by emerging countries.

Same story several months ago. Wall Street needs to go away as an in- fluence. The banks need to go away as well. We're just being 'legally' robbed every chance they get.

I'm to blame for high gas prices. I also know the meaning of life, but I don't see any reason to tell you. Good day.

I just paid $85 to fill up my car (22 gallons) Saturday.Yes, it's a car, not a truck or SUV. That's my weekly usage. I get 25 mpg.

If the explanation was singular or simplistic then consumers would have a way to combat fuel prices. However the complicated way in which prices are "manipulated" or set is what keeps consumers from being effective in challenging or changing things.

Maybe China will have an economic crash and people couldn't afford gas :O. But wait, our country manufactures everything there, so that wouldnt be good for us either.

Speculation and oil companies - Congress not wanting to place regulation. Senate for not voting against tax subsidies, because they get kick backs from oil companies for their campaigns.

When you shutdown refineries because you can't sell the producted how is that not manipulating the market? And by not allowing more drilling on Federal lands and than turn around and push the Saudias to drill more how can you state that drilling won't help?

The title asks whose to blame for the price at the pump? and then does nothing really to answer it. Seemed like liberal rhetoric
