I tried 10 new topics and saw this message - We're sorry! This topic is no longer available. I’ve sent a message to this site, but they haven’t fixed it. This has been going on for months now. Have ya’ll had this issue before?

Hello from Texas. Now it's getting warmer.

Dallas TX had a record temp of 39 degrees this morning. Burr!!

The NH incident struck me as straight-forward self defense. But I have learned that NH law enforcement has a big bone to pick with Boston cops; maybe too many of them drunk and out-of-control when vacationing there. So they give no breaks to Boston cops. It was eventually plead down to misdemeanor "disorderly," but Boston PD took me off the street for 2 years--no O.T. or moonlighting, till I retired last year. Effectively ended my career, and cost me about $350K in lost earnings and costs. Still pretty bitter about the whole thing.

In the Northeast, the guy would be vulnerable to charges such as brandishing a weapon, possession of illegal weapon, etc. I was in NH two years ago, and unholstered (didn't point) against a guy coming against me (my minor daughter in presence) and I got hit by a NH prosecutor with a felony charge. And I'm a cop!
