Thanks for the comments. My issue is not with the idea that our natural resources should be protected but rather with the means by which we do it. Banning exports is a problem for me. Controlling their flow through the use of tariffs is less obtrusive for the private concerns that own the product and can be manipulated as markets change.

Good Morning, Thank you for the compliment on my avatar. That was my 19 year old pure black boy that broke my heart. I had him put down the end of October because he was no longer having a good quality of life. I miss him terribly but remind myself that he is with his Poppy (my father, they were great buds) now. The glasses were a result of some fun one day. It didn't last long. LOL The kitty in your pic is beautiful. I noticed him right away the first day I wrote you. Right you are my friend. This second term is going to be a tough one. I don't see how Obama can swear to uphold the Constitution when he clearly treats it with such disdain.
