While you are in a library branch, see if you can find out where the actual Wifi box is kept. This might give you an idea where there the best spot outside could be. Also it might vary by branch; two of mine you can pick up way out in the parking lot and otheres you have to find the exact spot next to the building.

It looks like NutPopper has just moved up this morning past deachgo's account dropping deachgo to #9! You're right! I do see that deachgo's consecutive days keep increasing! I don't know how that is happening! I didn't know Chuck (deachgo) or his daughter Nicole (he was on my buddy list)! I'm sure he was a nice guy and it's too bad he passed away at such an early age of just 50! His daughter, Nicole, tried to continue his site, with encouragement from other GBs, and did for more than a year before the mods changed the password to keep Nicole from accessing it! Of course, this was brought about by one or more GBs complaining to the mods that it wasn't fair! The mods apparently agree that it wasn't in accord with GasBuddy's Terms of Use. And of course, many GBs have expressed their pros and cons! And I'm sure this has not ended! Ron

lvpeg is one of my more than 1000 friends. I've seen him come and go. I guess there will be no more chances. I left last year and was allowed back after the Moderators understood my problem. I have 2,228 consecutive days right now. Ranked 160. Deachgo (Chuck) on top doesn't exist anymore since he died about a year ago. His daughter is keeping his streak alive. Click on his name and he is gone.

you asked what gives with my consectutive day count was restored. I have advanced COPD and was delerious with a temp of 102-I am 69 and thouight I had posted when I guess I had not. If you contact the GMs in a day or two and tell them why they will restore-you have 3 chances to do so. I now have used up my 3.

When you download a page, you are getting a slice of the server's time. If there are lots of users and little server resources, then your slice is small, regardless of how fast your pipe to the server.
