Iran's oil remains a moveable threat

GasBuddy Blog -- Crude oil prices have fallen by $10 per barrel in the last 10 days. Why? Most people who follow oil and gasoline prices agree that several reasons explain it: a rising dollar pushes commodities lower; weak employment numbers from the U.S. Dept. of Labor reflect slow economic recovery --little change in consumer demand-- while tensions have eased between Iran and Western nations over the country’s nuclear program.

However, it may be premature to say that those tensions will remain muted. Last week Israel Defense Minister Ehud Barak made a speech to the Foreign Press Association in Jerusalem where he said the following:

"Iranian deception and lies concerning their nuclear program have been on-going and well-documented....

Israel will find a way to keep bothering Iran with web attacks to their nuclear facilities, selected bombing and killing nuclear scientist with car bombs from guys on motorcycles. Other countries, like China, will work their way around the UN Security Council P5+1 group meeting on May 23 and the coming July sanctions and continue to buy oil from Iran. Whatever the size or shape of the vehicle, Produce and ‘Drive’ vehicles with high MPG, are very reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money. Consider using other forms of less expensive transportation to lower your cost, if possible! The price of fuel at the pump is too high! 12/22/2012!
