Ram 1500 trucks are recalled to fix stability software problem

GasBuddy Blog -- For owners of 2013 Ram trucks, they're probably getting that feeling of deja vu. Just last month Chrysler issued a recall for about 30,000 of the vehicles to fix a faulty warning light in the dashboard.

According to the L.A. Times, the company says 45,961 Ram 1500 trucks from the 2013 model year have an error in the Electronic Stability Control that can disable the system when the trucks are started. The issue affects only four-wheel-drive models.

Ram 1500 trucks are recalled to fix stability software problem. A minor recall that was discovered by pickup dealers, that could cause an accident. Dealers will fix the problem with a reflash of the trucks' computers at no charge to customers. The recall is expected to begin in August.
Fix the problem and get it back on the road ASAP!
Vehicles of all kinds with more and more computers in them, what happened to 'human driven vehicles?'
OMG, Its A Dodge! Is there some kind of hope?
Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

A random computer programmer makes a random error in coding the control of an important system, like stability control, and a truck becomes dangerous... no wonder I don't want driverless cars on the road!

The number of recalls seem to be increasing or is that because the news papers have more empty space to fill.
