And the "BEST" major Interstate highways traveling on using the group I just mentioned is Arizona, and the "WORST" is California

In snow conditions the surrounding towns seem to drop the ball while my town gets it clear and safe in reasonable amount of time. There are other towns in promixity that do a great job too but the surrounding sucks

All of the manhole covers in this area seem to average between one and three inches below the road surface. The result is a jarring ride that raises hell with the front end linkage and alignment. In a nutshell it sucks!

We do have numerous dirt roads that aren't paved, they just get scraped and graveled, but our more heavily traveled roads are in good condition. They are maintained by the city, county and state entities and they all work together to stay on top of keeping the roads paved. I can say that our county uses money generated from the gas tax to the full extent of road maintenance.

The damage and maintenance costs of my vehicles proves it. Having tie-rods, ball joints, tires and other steering and suspension components replace almost yearly is getting to be very, very expensive.
