We took a little day trip in our Camry Hybrid today. Went further west of Chicago than I live and I filled up for $3.79 per gallon. Didn't need to fill up but it was a 20 cent per gallon savings so I filled up anyway.

A 2 cent drop after consistent increases of 20+ cents is not news CNN.

Not around here either - and it depends on if there is a holiday coming. Prices seem to drop just before the holiday and then go back up on/near that day!! Last week gas was 3.75 and yesterday I paid 3.89!! Prices around here change just as often as our weather does.

Sam's is down to $3.72 in Port Charlotte which is about a 17 cent drop in the last 2 weeks but most stations in this area is around $3.76 - $3.83 in SW FL area.
I would love to see a real good drop in the prices soon.

Just tidbits of bait to make us 'feel good about the miniscule drops' in fuel pricing.

LOL! People, wake up. Has the government stopped its debt craze? Has the Federal Reserve put the US dollar back on a gold standard base line? NO. Even if the answers were yes, the damage to the financial system is to massive. Higher gas prices are a given. Simply enjoy the lower gas prices while you can and get ready for higher prices in the future.

Only coming down by a few pennies, instead nickels and dimes. In one day or I should say one morning, it was $3.03 or something like that; when I came home that evening it was $3.23.
Now, what's up with that? That's all the way wrong, you know what I meant.
