He accused the United States of threatening Venezuela, and spoke with approval of the warning to Washington leveled earlier in the day by Foreign Minister Elias Jaua in Guayaquil, Ecuador.

"If the United States takes recourse to economic sanctions, or sanctions of any other kind, we will take measures of a commercial, energy, economic and political order that we...

Venezuela threatens oil, trade measures in vote row with US? These countries get new leadsership and they have to berate the US to show their population they know what to do.
Stop Big Oil from exporting fuel and use it here, we don't need Venezuela's stinking crude oil!
More Refineries are Not the answer, Stop exporting fuel is!
*If 'they' can export all that fuel, there are enough refineries already, there is no need for more!
Take care of the domestic fuel market first and above all else before exporting and selling fuel or natural gas to other countries!
Drive vehicles with high MPG, are very safe, reliable, have a ‘reasonable’ cost and a good ‘value’ for the money.
The price of fuel at the pump is too high!

Who made us the world's policeman? Why do we care about the elections in Venezuela? The U.N. is supposed to watch that sort of thing and we should stay out of the business of other soveriegn countries, until we have all of our own issues fixed.

Let them do business with China instead. Then, when China fully owns Venezuela, we can resume business with them.

The keystone pipeline will carry oil of simular quality. Then we can tell Venezuela to " Go to hell". After all nobody else is up to processing heavy, sour, dirty crude.

It's all bluster. Venezuela needs our oil money. Their oil is heavy and requires th kind of refining we have. Not as much of a market for it compared to light sweet oil.
