Sneakers: gotta make up somewhere... There's a gas station that notoriously charges 10 cents more for diesel but is 2 - 4 cents cheaper than anyone else when it comes to regular unleaded. You know they subsidize the cheaper gas w/ the diesel.

They made up for the gas prices at the New Braunfels Buc-ee's by overcharging at the Meridianville Buc-ee's. Highest gas prices I found on vacation, $3.699 a gallon.

w/ the tax that Zuckerberg and others have to pay after today's IPO and stock sales to the state of California, the prices should be dropping like a rock.

Glad you don't live in HI. Went to Big Island for a visit, average gas prices-$4.85 this past Monday. Was expecting prices in Seattle/Tacoma area to be lower when return...

People pay so prices continue to rise... we are at $148.3 a liter here in Vancouver, so that's $5.62 a Gallon.

The West Coast refineries are operating at 79% of capacity. When the percentage increases the price will decline. This is considered a temporary situation.

Why are gas prices continuing to climb in the Dayton, OH area? Oil prices are below $95/barrel, and yet stations in the area felt the need yesterday to jump prices back up to $3.79/gallon...nearly a $.30/gallon jump in one day.

It could be $6 a gallon in those three states and they would still think this president is the second coming.

Gas prices will rise when six refineries are off-line for maintenance or other repairs. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure this out. This situation may have been averted with a little coordination within the industry. I think one can reasonably expect government to better regulate (not more regulation) this industry so that things like this are minimized or even eliminated.

Come vacation in New Braunfels this summer where the opening of the new Buc-ee's has brought gas prices down to $3.249 as of this morning. Enjoy tubing on the Guadalupe & Comal rivers and the world's greatest waterpark Schlitterbahn. Located between San Antonion and Austin, about 25 miles northeast of San Antonio.
